Step 1: Install DejaSurf on the new machine.
The installation program can be found here.
Make a note of which directory you install DejaSurf on the NEW MACHINE.
Step 2: Determine
where DejaSurf is installed ON THE OLD MACHINE.
Normally, DejaSurf is installed in the
c:\program files\dejasurf directory. Use Explorer to find DejaSurf on your
machine.
Step 3: Copy
information from the OLD MACHINE TO THE NEW MACHINE.
Use Explorer to copy the DejaSurf directory
and all sub-directories to a floppy (or directly to the new machine via a
network, etc.).
The most important subdirectories are:
- c:\program files\DejaSurf\DejaSurf
Logins
- c:\program files\DejaSurf\DejaSurf Users
- c:\program files\DejaSurf\DejaSurf
Recordings
These subdirectories contain your personal
information.
Step 4: Set your
master password.
Use the DejaSurf toolbar menu to re-set
your master password on the NEW MACHINE.
Step 5: Contact DejaSurf to
re-register the installation on the new machine.
If you previously registered DejaSurf on
the OLD MACHINE, you can contact our support
department for a new key.
NOTE: Your license is only valid for for a single user on a single
machine. You should purchase and additional license or uninstall DejaSurf
from the old machine once the transfer is complete.
